Transporting super-heavy goods or transporting oversized goods is no longer a difficult problem that machinery manufacturers and equipment suppliers have to worry about. REGULATIONS ON SPECIAL TYPES OF GOODS AND SPECIAL VEHICLES

Regulations "Transporting extra-long and super-heavy goods on road" are prescribed in Articles 4, 5, and 7 of Decision No. 63/2007/QD - BGTVT dated December 28, 2007 of the Ministry of Transport on the issue this. Some of the notable ones include the following:

Super-heavy goods are goods that cannot be disassembled (divided), when loaded on a means of transport with one of the outer dimensions (of the vehicle and the goods loaded on the vehicle) measured as follows:

  • Length greater than 20 meters.
  • Width greater than 2.5 meters.
  • The height (from the road surface upwards) is more than 4.2 meters (except for containers). And super-long and super-heavy goods are non-removable (divided) goods weighing over 32 tons.

Regulations on transport of super-heavy goods circulating on the road must have a tonnage and size suitable for the transport package, and must comply with regulations on circulation of overloaded and oversized vehicles. For example, crawler vehicles on the road in Chapter III of Circular 07/2010/TT-BGTVT.
The transportation of super-heavy goods must ensure absolute safety from lifting to transportation, vehicles carrying extra-heavy goods must be registered at the specified time, have a certificate of safety. techniques and environmental protection are still valid. The circulation permit shall be issued to the means of transport of oversized and super-heavy goods according to the form specified in Appendix 2 to this Circular.

COOPERATE TRANSPORT PROCESS

  • When receiving the customer's need to transport goods, the operator of the switchboard will transfer the phone to the sales department in charge of contacting the customer.
  • Communicate clearly about items to be transported: Type of goods, size, tonnage, location, delivery time. The two sides will clearly exchange information about the goods.
  • Our company will send people to survey the actual goods, survey the route...
  • Once you have agreed on the price, shipping time, then proceed to make a contract to transport the goods.
  • Carry out shipping.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF CUSTOMERS' PARTY

  • Clearly and accurately notify the carrier of the information about the goods to be transported including
  • Responsible for the shipping mark (name, address of place of dispatch, place of receipt of weight, size, method of handling, storage requirements, ..).
  • Provide all documents related to the goods to be transported (delivery paper, purchase and sale paper, …).
  • Fully coordinate with the carrier to solve problems arising during transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPER WEIGHT TRANSPORTER

  • Must have business registration as prescribed by law and meet all business conditions as prescribed.
  • There are enough drivers, technicians and skilled workers to use vehicles and specialized equipment.
  • Lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a plan (survey on driving journey, topographic location of loading and unloading places, vehicle speed, departure time, parking spot...) It is important to ensure the safety of people, goods and traffic works.
